French Pleat Pinch
While there are many ways you can pleat a curtain, Studio 2000 prefers the beautiful flow that the french pleat pinch allows. This means the top heading of the curtain is pinched, pleated by hand which gives your curtains that classic wave detail throughout. We pride ourselves on our high quality workmanship and materials, carefully hand pleating and stitching each curtain before machine sewing it all in place. Get your french pleat pinch curtains in your choice of fabric, sheer or lined, made to order.
This style of drapery easily attaches to a standard curtain rail via hooks on the back of the pleats or via eyelet rings using decorative hardware.
Cotton lined linen
This is an in between curtain, blocking out the sun, creating some warmth and is not sheer. It does allow light in and is not a block out. It is perfect for living rooms and dining rooms or for people that don’t like block out curtains and prefer light and some warmth.
How to choose your curtains:
One piece or two pieces?
One piece is when the curtain opens to the left or the right only
Centre opening is when you have a piece of curtain on both sides of the window i.e. it is in one piece not two.
Tip: if your window is very wide eg 4m you can order two sets of 2m wide in one piece.
How to measure your window:?
One piece is when the curtain opens to the left or the right only
Measure the length of your rail or rod from one end to the other. This is the width.
Eg: If your window measures 1.20m then opt for 1.5m. Size up or it won’t close fully.
The width of the curtain is not adjustable to make it wider.
For the height measure from the bottom of your rail all the way down to the floor.
Then deduct 1cm so that it isn’t touching the floor. If you prefer it to touch the floor then no deduction is necessary or if you would like it sitting on the floor we recommend adding on between 3-5cm.
If you have a round rod, then measure from the bottom of the rod to the floor, the same as with a rail but deduct 2cm to allow for the ring. Don’t forget to order rings if you don’t have them already.
Then deduct another 1cm so it doesn’t sit on the floor.

How to care for your curtains
Wash in the bath with hand wash sunlight soap.
Do not dry clean.
Do not use Omo to clean.
